The short version

  • The US and China published their "30-for-30" product lists on September 27, 2026.
  • The US list has 77 tariff lines (about $30 billion of 2024 imports from China) that "could benefit from more favorable tariff treatment in the future."
  • No rates and no start date yet. This page lists every line so you can check your HTS codes now.

What changed

The new US-China Board of Trade approved "two comparably valued lists of products" based on calendar year 2024 trade. Future cuts "will be determined and implemented in accordance with each side's domestic legal processes" (Terms of Reference, Sept 27). China's list covers US farm goods, seafood, wood, cosmetics and medical devices.

What it means for your business

If your 10-digit code starts with one of these 8-digit codes, your product is on the list. Close is not enough: plastic Christmas ornaments (9505.10.25), artificial Christmas trees and other Christmas articles (9505.10.40, 9505.10.50), LED lights and plastic artificial flowers are not on it. Until rates are published, nothing changes at the border.
