Etsy SEO tools compared (2026)

An Etsy SEO tool estimates how often shoppers search a keyword on Etsy and how many listings compete for it, so you can choose tags and titles buyers actually type. Some also estimate how much other listings sell. Here is what each one costs:

eRankYes: 5 lookups a day, 1 shopUS$5.99 / 9.99 / 29.99 (yearly: 5.50 / 7.92 / 22.50)100 / 200 / 500 a dayNo (estimates tracked competitor shops' daily sales)

Prices and limits from each tool's pricing page, checked October 6, 2026. EverBee shows yearly prices; Alura's monthly prices are from a dated review (RevenueGeeks, August 2026). Every tool's search volumes and sales numbers are its own estimates, not official Etsy data.

eRank: what we use

We use eRank to research tags and titles for the SuanSupply Etsy shop. The keyword tool shows Etsy search estimates, competition and click-through for a term, and the free plan is enough to check a handful of keywords for a new listing. Paid plans raise the daily lookups and add competitor tracking and rank checks. What it doesn't do is estimate sales for a single listing, which is where EverBee and EHunt come in.

eRank's free plan covers 5 keyword lookups a day, with no card needed.

EverBee: for product research

EverBee's Chrome extension shows estimated monthly sales and revenue for any Etsy listing or shop while you browse, which helps you check demand before you make something. Its keyword tool is unlimited on paid plans. It costs more than eRank, and the free Hobby plan leaves out sales and revenue data, so it suits sellers choosing what to make more than sellers tuning tags.

Which Etsy SEO tool should you use?

We haven't paid for every plan of every tool, so beyond eRank this page compares published prices and features rather than accuracy. Each tool estimates search volume its own way, so expect different numbers for the same keyword.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Etsy SEO tool?

For most sellers, eRank: it has a free plan, paid plans from US$5.99 a month, and covers keyword research, listing audits and competitor tracking. If you want sales estimates for other sellers' listings, EverBee or EHunt.

Is eRank free?

Yes. eRank's free plan includes 5 keyword lookups a day, 1 shop and 5 listing audits a day. Basic is US$5.99 a month for 100 lookups a day.

Is EverBee worth it?

If you research products before making them, EverBee's listing sales estimates are the main reason to pay. Growth costs US$299 a year. For tag and title research alone, eRank costs less.

eRank vs Marmalead: which is better?

eRank is cheaper (free, or from US$5.99 a month) and adds competitor tracking and rank checks. Marmalead costs US$19 a month with no free plan and focuses on keyword data and grading your listings.

Are Etsy SEO tool search volumes accurate?

They are estimates. Etsy doesn't publish search volumes, so each tool models them differently. Use them to compare keywords against each other, not as exact numbers.
