How much does Depop take from a sale?
For US sellers, Depop takes 3.3% plus $0.45 of the total transaction, which is the item price plus the shipping the buyer pays. That's the payment processing fee, and since Depop removed its 10% selling fee in the US and UK in 2024, it's the only fee on a normal sale.
There's no fee to list, no monthly fee and no fee to withdraw your balance. The only other cost is optional: boosting.

Depop's fixed $0.45 matters most on cheap items. On a $10 item it adds 4.5% of the price on its own, so bundling low-priced pieces saves you money.
Depop boosting fees
Boosting puts your listing in front of more buyers in search and feeds. You don't pay to boost. You only pay if a boosted listing sells, and then Depop charges a boosting fee on top of processing: 12% in the US and UK for listings boosted from March 23, 2026, and 8% in other markets.
A 12% boosting fee plus 3.3% processing puts a boosted sale at over 15% in fees, close to eBay's rate. Boost the items that have sat for a while, not your best sellers, which sell anyway.
Depop fees in the UK
UK sellers also pay no selling fee. Payment processing is 2.9% + £0.30 of the item and shipping. On a £30 item with £4 shipping, that's about £1.29, so you keep about £28.71 before your postage costs.
