How much do you keep on a US$25 tee?
Example: one Bella+Canvas 3001 tee sold on Etsy for US$25 with free shipping to a US buyer. Etsy takes the US$0.20 listing fee, a 6.5% transaction fee (US$1.63) and payment processing of 3% + US$0.25 (US$1.00), so US$2.83 in total.

Which should you choose?
- New Etsy shop testing designs: Printify Free. The lowest cost per item leaves the most room for Etsy fees and a sale price.
- Selling 12 or more items a month: Printify Premium, or compare against Printful Growth if you already use Printful.
- Brand and repeat buyers matter most: Printful. One in-house producer, custom labels and pack-in inserts.
- Shipping to Canada or Europe: Printful has its own centers in Canada, Latvia, Spain and the UK. On Printify, pick a provider in the buyer's region.
- Order samples first on either one: check print quality and shirt fit before you list.
The Etsy production partner rule
- Add the partnerIn Shop Manager, open Settings, then Partners you work with, and add your print company. You can describe it as a print shop rather than naming it.
- Set Who made itOn each print-on-demand listing, choose that another company or person made it, and select the partner.
- Link before you sellPrintful says Etsy may block or hold orders when listings are not linked correctly.
