Frequently asked questions

Which mileage rate does it use?

You choose: the IRS business rate (it applies 72.5 cents to trips before July 1, 2026 and 76 cents after), the CRA allowance rate, the HMRC approved rate, the Spanish per km allowance, or your own. Check which rate and method apply to you; the tool keeps records and doesn't give tax advice.

Does it track my trips with GPS?

No. You log each trip yourself, with the distance or the odometer readings, so nothing tracks your location.

Can I import expenses from my bank?

Yes. Import a CSV with date and amount columns from your bank or card statement, then set the categories.

Is there a subscription?

No. You pay once on Etsy and keep the tool.

Where is my data stored?

Only in your browser, on your device. Nothing is uploaded. Use Back up to save a copy or move it to another computer.
